Cruises From Port Tampa

Tampa, Florida, has become a popular home port for cruise lines, with Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean International and Holland America offering a variety of four-, five-, seven- and 14-day cruises. Sailing out of Tampa is convenient for passengers because of Tampa's excellent airport, which offers easy connections or direct flights to and from most U.S. cities. Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Holland America all sail older ships out of Tampa, but the values are outstanding, with cruises on all the lines available for as low as a few hundred dollars for shorter trips, as of 2010. Cruise ships operate out of Tampa year round, but the schedules and itineraries change throughout the year.
