    Dunns River Falls

    • Form a human chain and climb the 1,000-foot waterfall in Ocho Rios. The steps of the falls are formed by travertine rock that are formed by calcium carbonate and sodium, deposited by the constant flow of water. Fresh water from Dunn's River flows down the falls and empties directly into the sea. Climb the falls with the help of a guide or brave it on your own. Either way, start your trek from the sandy beach at the end of the falls and work up to the top. Along the way, relax and soak in one of the naturally formed pools or slide down a natural rock water slide.
