Camden Park has more than 30 attractions and rides. The amusement park appeals to teenagers, as well as younger children. Rides include roller coasters, bumper cars and a log flume. The Kiddie Land area has nine rides for kids 48 inches and under. Additionally, the park has mini golf, a video arcade and a pavilion that hosts music concerts during July and August. Camden Park, which is open from May to October, is in the western part of the state, near the Kentucky and Ohio borders.

The Children's Museum of the Ohio Valley helps kids learn by featuring hands-on activities. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to make it a family outing by playing with their kids at the venue. Exhibits are designed to help kids learn skills that will prepare them for school. Activities include using building blocks, playing with puppets and doing tangram puzzles. The museum is in the northern part of the state, near the Ohio and Pennsylvania borders.

The Princeton Rays are the Rookie-class minor league baseball team for the Tampa Bay Rays. They compete in the Appalachian League. The team plays 34 home games from June to August. Families will enjoy seeing future major leaguers on their first professional team. The Rays' alumni include big league stars like Carl Crawford, Josh Hamilton and Wade Davis. Additionally, the Rays have promotions throughout the season, such as a free t-shirt night and $1 admission night with a ticket obtained from an area Taco Bell. Kids also get to meet the team's mascot---Roscoe, the Drug Free Rooster---during games. Princeton is in the southern part of the state, near the Virginia border.
