The West Boynton Skate Park features 15,000 square feet of runs for skateboards and inline skates with floodlighting and a spectator seating area. Runs offered include street and plaza styles with multiple stairs, benches, rails, barriers and transitions and features Skatewave steel equipment with RampX surfaces. The wearing of crash helmets is mandatory at the facility, but pads are optional. As of 2010, admission is free but requires skaters under 17 years of age to register at the West Boynton Recreation Center to receive a sticker permit to use the facility and have a previously filed parental permission form before commencing skating activities.
The West Boynton Recreation Center is open for registration up to an hour before closing time. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from sunrise to 9 p.m, Saturday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sundays and holidays from sunrise to sunset.

West Boynton Park is home to the West Boynton Little League (WBLL), which became charter members of Florida's District 7 in 1994. Its goals include teaching children the spirit of good sportsmanship, loyalty, courage and enables children to play regulation baseball.
The WBLL provides a supervised program under Little League rules and regulations and offers support and training for coach volunteers of the West Boynton Little League.
Adults who wish to help out must complete a volunteer application form, downloaded from the WBLL website and return it to the WBLL safety officer. The Parents' & Coaches Code of Ethics also is available at the same site.
As of 2010, the park's five baseball fields, facilities and practice areas are open daily from sunrise to sunset; some floodlit athletic fields close at 11 p.m.

The West Boynton Park Gymnasium caters to indoor activities such as basketball and volleyball with regular sessions for all age groups and levels of skill. Patrons can use the outdoor basketball courts if there are no matches or lessons taking place.
As of 2010, hours of operation are Monday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m, Tuesday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The gymnasium is available for rental for private functions.
