The Gulf Breeze Zoo is a 50-acre facility that offers a variety of attractions and activities for people of all ages. The zoo houses, among other animals, chimpanzees, hippos, ostriches, rhinoceroses, and antelope. Kids will especially enjoy the Children's Zoo, a petting zoo filled with small animals hungry for treats that parents can purchase inside the attraction. The Safari Line Limited Train is a narrated train ride through some of the exhibits. Kids will beg to ride the train again and again after seeing antelope and zebras run past the slow-moving miniature train.

Shoreline Park, also known as the South Santa Rosa Recreational Center, is a sprawling 138-acre park full of activities for children and their parents. The park offers basketball, soccer, and baseball facilities for active children, along with hiking and jogging trails weaving through the trees. Sunset Kids Park and the Gulf Breeze Recreation Center have many facilities for kids' activities, and tired parents can relax their legs as their children laugh and play on the outdoor and indoor equipment. Shoreline Park has over a hundred acres of forest if the kids want to explore and celebrate Gulf Breeze's beautiful nature attractions.
Tiger Point Sports Park is a park frequented by many in Gulf Breeze. The 30-acre park has seven baseball diamonds just waiting for a pick-up game, along with two soccer fields. Kids can enjoy exploring the park, climbing through the well-maintained playground, and dashing along the walking trails that meander through the park. Tiger Point Sports Park is a great way to enjoy the sunshine and recreation of Gulf Breeze without needing to commit to a forest or beachfront expedition.
