    Clearwater Marine Aquarium

    • The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is not an aquarium in the traditional sense. It is a research, rescue and rehabilitation facility for animals in trouble, including dolphins, sea turtles, otters, sting rays and any others that may need help. For a small fee, you can tour the whole facility. Staff will tell you about the animals and how they came to be at the facility and answer questions. There is not a regular exhibit; they house animals while they heal, then whenever possible return them to the wild.
For an extra fee, you can arrange a boat tour in which you can learn about the ecosystem. Tour guides pull up nets to teach you about whatever they catch.
