Where is the sea of Tranquillity?

The Mare Tranquillitatis (meaning "Sea of Tranquility") is a mare located in the northeast region of Earth's Moon.

Specifically, within a large impact crater near the eastern edge of the lunar near side: a region which experienced volcanic flooding approximately 3.9 billion years ago.
