Emerald Beach RV Park

• Situated 15 minutes to the west of Walton Beach along the Santa Rosa Sound, the Emerald Beach RV Park has 76 full hook-up sites. Half of them are back-ins and the others are pull-throughs. All the sites have water, sewer and 20- to 50-amp electric. Recreational activities in the park include swimming in its pool and fishing on its Santa Rosa Sound beach. The campground can handle big rigs and welcomes groups. Propane is for sale and Wi-Fi is available in the park. There are nightly, weekly and monthly rates as well as different rates for the winter and summer. Emerald Beach RV Park also offers restrooms, a laundry facility, showers, dumpsters, pet walks and a dump station. Guests can also stay in cabins.

Navarre Beach Campground

• The Navarre Beach campground is 15 minutes to the west of Fort Walton Beach and offers visitors the choice to stay in cabins or on RV sites. There are 135 full hook-up sites--including 50 that are pull-throughs--and 50-amp electric is available for no extra charge. Overnight guests can also take advantage of free wireless Internet. The sites all have free cable TV, picnic tables and patios. Amenities around the property include a propane filling station, shower facilities, a security gate, a heated pool and a hot tub. In addition, there is a playground, a video room, a fitness center, shuffleboard courts, recreation hall with a kitchen, and a fishing pier. Adding to your convenience is a store with groceries and RV supplies. The cabins come with air conditioning and heat, microwaves, refrigerators and screened decks.

Playground RV Park

• The Playground RV Park is located in Fort Walton Beach and has 54 camping sites for RVs. Camping in tents is not allowed. This no-frills is limited to just the basics. The sites are paved and have 20- to 50-amp electric. Twelve of the sites are pull-throughs. The campground also has a laundry facility, phone hook-ups, cable TV and facilities to handle groups. Pets are allowed, but must stay on a leash. There is no pool or direct access to Santa Rosa Sound.
