Aunt Martha's Bed and Breakfast is right off the Miracle Strip Parkway and the only bed and breakfast in Fort Walton Beach. The bed and breakfast is less five minutes from off-site dining options and retail stores at the Shoppes at Paradise Pointe. Okaloosa Island attractions, including the Gulfarium and Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier, are less than 10 minutes away. The living room at Aunt Martha's features antique-style furniture and a baby grand piano, while the library has a fireplace and books, which are at the guests' disposal. All rooms have a private bathroom. Breakfast is available every morning in the dining area, which seats 12 guests.
Fort Walton Beach's Gulfarium is on Okaloosa Island. This water park hosts live marine animal shows with dolphins and sea lions. Other exhibits feature alligators, fish and sea coral. The Gulfarium has spaces for private parties.
Okaloosa Fishing Pier is on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico and is open 24 hours a day. The pier offers rentals for fishing poles. A bait and tackle shop is on the Pier's property. Guests do not need a Florida state fishing license to fish at the Pier.
Henderson Beach State Park is on the Gulf of Mexico, on the southern shores of Okaloosa Island. This beach area has two picnic pavilions, a playground and a boardwalk along the sandbar. The boardwalk has shower facilities.
Situated in Destin's Miramar Beach area, Patterson's Beach Bed and Breakfast is a 30-minute drive east of Fort Walton Beach. This bed and breakfast is made up of three multi-level houses, all within walking distance of the Gulf of Mexico. Each house features a two-car garage, beach-level outdoor terrace and elevator. The houses have three suites with living room areas and expansive bathrooms. Fully furnished kitchens are available on the ground floors; breakfast is served in the kitchen areas every morning.

Avid golfers at Patterson's Beach are less than 15 minutes away from the Sandestion Resort, which offers four golf courses. Among the courses is the 18-hole Raven Golf Club course; this Robert Trent Jones-designed course has served as a stop on the PGA Champions Tour.
Topsail Hill State Park is a 20-minute drive from the bed and breakfast. This state park offers opportunities for freshwater fishing and boating activities in Morris Lake and Campbell Lake. Over three miles of Gulf of Mexico beach are also at Topsail Hill.
