What layer of the rainforest do bromeliad live in?

Bromeliads are found in all layers of the rainforest, from the forest floor to the canopy. Epiphytic bromeliads grow on the branches and trunks of trees, while terrestrial bromeliads grow in the soil. Some bromeliads are even found in the understory, the layer of vegetation between the canopy and the forest floor.
