The Lincoln Memorial is located on the western end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States. It sits at the western end of the Reflecting Pool, directly opposite the Washington Monument and the National World War II Memorial. The memorial is dedicated to the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln.
