Which country occupies the western half of Scandinavia peninsula?

Norway occupies the western half of the Scandinavian peninsula, bordering Sweden to the east, Finland and Russia to the northeast, and the Skagerrak strait and the North Sea to the south. It is a sparsely populated country with a population of just over 5 million people, the majority of whom live in the southern part of the country.
