What countries helped Warsaw during the battle?

During the 1939 campaign, Poland did not receive major military commitments from its western allies, France and Great Britain, however, these Allies gave diplomatic, intelligence, financial, air, and naval support by launching the Phony War as well as contributing volunteers such as the Kościuszko Squadron or individual pilots and sailors. During September, the Soviet invasion from the east left France and Britain unable to do more than make radio broadcasts of encouragement which also caused a negative perception among most Poles; as the western Allies had done nothing on Polish territory and even refused military transport planes which Poland had already paid for over enemy countries (Baltic Sea).
