What is a traditional Austrian empress?

An Austrian empress or Kaiserin is the title held by the wife of the emperor of Austria. The official title was Empress of Austria, Apostolic Queen of Hungary, Queen of Bohemia, Dalmatia, Croatia, Slavonia, Galicia and Lodomeria, and Queen of Lombardy-Venetia. The title of empress was first used by Maria Theresa, who was married to Emperor Francis I. She was crowned Queen of Hungary in 1740 and Empress of the Romans in 1745. The title of empress was used by all subsequent wives of the emperors of Austria until the fall of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918.
