What became of Sthenno and Euryale?

According to Greek mythology, after the defeat of the Gorgons during Perseus's quest to slay Medusa, the other two Gorgons, Sthenno and Euryale, were transformed into stone. Some versions mention them being turned to stone by Perseus using Medusa's severed head, while others attribute their petrification to the power of the gods or the sight of Medusa's headless corpse.
