Did John Cage travel to Europe?

John Cage did travel to Europe. In the early 1930s, he spent time in Paris, where he studied with Nadia Boulanger. He later traveled to Europe on several occasions, including a tour of Germany and Italy in 1950 and a visit to the Darmstadt International Summer Courses for New Music in 1951.
