Were the majority of Africans enslaved transported to Mexico?

The majority of enslaved Africans were not transported to Mexico. Although Mexico did participate in the transatlantic slave trade, the vast majority of enslaved Africans were brought to the Caribbean, Brazil, and the United States. Mexico received a relatively small number of enslaved Africans compared to other regions of the Americas.
