Things to Do in Paris at Night

Known as "The City of Lights," Paris offers a rich variety of activities to do during the nighttime. Many of the city's monuments and are lit up by night, making for a unique visual experience. Sign up for various tours that allow you to see the illuminated city, bicycle by the Eiffel Tower, or catch a ballet performance at the Opera National.
  1. Night Bike Tour

    Opera National de Paris

    • Take in a performance at the Opera National de Paris. The opera house hosts operas as well as ballets by the 157-member dance company, the Paris Opera Ballet. The Opera National de Paris attracts many famous choreographers and singers. Students and senior citizens may be able to take advantage of reduced ticket prices. If you're not on a schedule, you sometimes can get deals on tickets if you arrive right before a performance.

      The 2010-2011 season hosts operas such as "The Bartered Bride" and "Le Nozze de Figaro." Ballets include the classic "Swan Lake," "Romeo and Juliet" and "Paquita."
