Italy is a country in Europe that is similar in size to the state of Arizona. The country of Italy is known for its pasta, the Pope, beautiful landscapes, beaches, fashion, historic castles, and scenic mountains. There are many exciting places to visit in Italy such as Rome, Venice, and Capri.
  1. Rome

    • Rome is a big city with lots to see and do. Among the popular places to see include the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican where you can see Michelangelo's magnificent Pieta. When in Rome you can also check out the Basilica di San Clemente, the Terme di Caracalla which are the ruins of a Third Century public bathhouse, the Fontana di Trevi which happens to be one of the most famous fountains in Rome. Rome also has fabulous shopping which can be found at Via Condotti, Via Frattina, or Via Borgognona.

    • Venice is known for its beauty, architecture and numerous canals.     • Capri is one of Italy's most romantic and scenic islands. Capri has many beautiful beaches. Some of the most popular beaches to check out while in Capri include the Marina Piccola, Punta Carena, and Bagni di Tiberio. Other great places to explore include Capri's primary piazza known as the Piazza Umberto, the ruins of an emperor's summerhouse called Villa Jovis, or unwind while visiting the tranquil lush gardens of Giardini di Augusto.
