The 9-day Sicily trip starts off with three nights in Palermo, where guests can explore the ancient architecture, culture and notable restaurants. A guide will lead a tour of Palmermo, as well as Noto, Siracusa and Marsala, where guests visit a winery specializing in Marsala wine. The following four days are spent in Taormina, a unique cultural location blending Greek and Asian influences. Home to Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, Taormina is well known for its bike paths and hiking. Guests can swim, snorkel or just explore the culture. Experienced tour guides can direct visitors to sites, restaurants and other attractions.
