Le Bier Circus has a large selection of beers to choose from, including an extensive array of regional Lambrics. Located near the center of town, it is a convenient choice for those staying in town. This beer bar also offers traditional pub fair that is quite popular with locals. While the food and the beer are both what you would expect from a beer bar in Brussels, the atmosphere is a bit more modern. Bright open areas with light walls contrast sharply from the dark and secluded atmosphere you might expect.

A La Becasse first opened in 1877 and, after more than 130 years in business, it is still a local favorite. Located at the far end of a narrow passage near the Grand Place, it is a bit hidden. The bar is most famous for its white beer, Jeune lambric blanche, which is served in a traditional stone job. Along with the beer patrons may enjoy one of the popular open face sandwiches, a specialty of the pub.

Around 1910 the pub opened in a different location, and then in 1928 it moved to its present location. The décor, great service and large selection of beers are still as popular with the locals as when it first opened. Domestic and foreign beers, along with overflowing plates of sausage and cheese, await customers at this pub.

In't Spinnekopke is a cozy little pub during the day and early evening hours and an exquisite restaurant specializing in Belgian and French cuisine at night. Although dining is the focus at night, the pub still has a tradition beer bar vibe. Tiled floors, checked tablecloths and wooden benches create an intimate pub experience, and the large selection of beers rival that of any beer bar in Brussels.

Delirium Café offers a much more lively experience than many of the other beer bars in Brussels. Delirium is fast paced and often quite crowded with young locals and travelers. Foreign and local beers are available out of the barrel and in the bottle. Stronger options include whiskey, tequila, vodka and a variety of mixed drinks. For guests who want something to nibble with their beer, Delirium offers a nice selection of cheese and sausage.
