The food options keep picky eaters happy, and there is plenty of opportunity for swimming, shopping and many other things kids and teenagers enjoy.
Splurge on the best hotels when taking the family to Europe. European hotels rooms are generally much smaller than American rooms, and the standards are much lower. Nothing makes a trip bad faster than being cramped in an odd-smelling, thin-walled tiny room.
Apply for passports with plenty of time to spare. Everyone needs a passport, and the process can sometimes take up to a year.
