Visit the Trenitalia website. Click on 'English' in the upper right corner of the home page if you don't read Italian. Enter Rome as your departure point and Naples as your destination. You will be given a list of trains in order of their departure. You can also choose to view trains by time traveling or by stops along the way.

Hop aboard a Eurostar or InterCity/InterCity Plus train to reach Naples in less than two hours. Book the Espresso or Diretto train if you have some time along the way; travel can exceed 2 hours.
Know that there are actually two train stations at Napoli Centrale. You will arrive on the top level which runs trains nationally; the lower level is for Circumvesuviana, a private train line.
