What is the main river that runs trough Stockholm?

Stockholm is built on fourteen separate islands, connected by bridges, that are located at the mouth of Lake Mälaren where it meets the Baltic Sea. The main waterways surrounding the city are the Baltic Sea and Lake Mälaren. No major river runs through Stockholm.
