When was Irish Mob created?

The Irish Mob did not have an official beginning, but Irish immigrants arrived in the United States in the 1840s and quickly became a potent political and economic force. Some Irish Americans turned to crime and formed gangs in large cities like New York, Boston, and Chicago.
