When Do Clocks Change in Ireland?

Ireland follows the EU Daylight Saving Time schedule, changing clocks twice a year:

• Spring Forward: Last Sunday in March at 01:00 UTC (02:00 IST → 03:00 IST). Clocks move forward one hour.
• Fall Back: Last Sunday in October at 01:00 UTC (02:00 IST → 01:00 GMT). Clocks move back one hour.

During summer, Ireland observes Irish Standard Time (IST, UTC+1); in winter, it reverts to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT, UTC+0). The dates align with the UK and most of Europe.

Note: The EU has voted to abolish seasonal changes, but implementation is stalled; current practice continues.
