How long does it take to get Roatan from mainland Honduras?

You can not get to Roatan from mainland Honduras by land. Roatan is an island approximately 30 miles norther of the mainland. It can be reached by plane from a number of cities in the US and Canada. Flights from mainland Honduras take around 30 minutes. There are boats and ferries that travel to the island from the mainland, which can take several hours.
