Can a Mexican jumping bean drown?
There is no such thing as a Mexican jumping bean. The beans that jump are actually the seeds of a type of shrub called Sebastiania pavoniana, which is native to Mexico. The seeds are propelled by a small moth larva that lives inside them. When the larva moves, it causes the bean to jump.
Since Mexican jumping beans don't exist, they cannot drown.
