Is the Baja of California a isthmus?
The Baja of California is not an isthmus. An isthmus is a narrow strip of land connecting two larger land masses. The Baja of California is a peninsula, a piece of land that is almost entirely surrounded by water but connected to a mainland by an isthmus or a narrow piece of land. In the case of the Baja of California, it is connected to the mainland of Mexico by the Isthmus of La Paz.
