• Kosmo Village is an RV campground and a mobile home park, so visitors will have to mingle with the residents. There are seventeen RV camping sites available with 30 or 50 amp electric service and eleven of these sites are pull through. The maximum length RV that the park can accommodate is 85 feet. The park provides full hook ups with water, electricity, sewerage and free Wi-Fi internet access. All RVs must be self reliant on their restrooms and showers for the campground does not provide them.

Kampgrounds Of America--Richmond

• This KOA is located close to Richmond, about 15 to 30 minutes away from Kings Dominion. Recently renovated to become a member of Kampgrounds Of America, this park offers free TV and Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, swimming pool and a store. With one hundred and ninety eight, concrete, level RV sites this park can accommodate RVs up to 70 feet long and provides them with 30 or 50 amp electrical service, sewerage and water. Although this campground is in quite an open area, it does have a few interesting attractions around the region other than Kings Dominion, which is about twenty to thirty minutes away. Attractions include the Richmond Raceway Complex, the Canal Walk and Monticello--the estate of Thomas Jefferson.

Kings Dominion Campground

• RV Campers that visit Kings Dominion amusement park have the option of staying at the park's campground. RV sites are fully equipped with sewer, water and 30 or 50 amp electrical service. Campground facilities include a swimming pool, children's playground, volleyball court and a miniature golf course. On bad whether days there is an indoor recreational building featuring a game room, TV and free internet access. There is also laundry and showering amenities available, a general store and a propane filling station. As an added bonus there is a shuttle service that runs from the campground to the amusement park and back again for when the fun is over.
