When did the first people start to live in Chile?

Archaeological evidence suggests that the first people arrived in Chile around 13,000 years ago. These early inhabitants were nomadic hunter-gatherers, who lived primarily on the abundant marine resources of the Pacific coast. Over time, they developed more complex societies and began to cultivate crops and domesticate animals.
