How many people Mexican descent were pressured into leaving the country?

It is not true that people of Mexican descent were pressured into leaving the United States. While there have been instances of discrimination and deportation of Mexicans and Mexican Americans throughout history, it is not accurate to say that they were pressured into leaving the country as a whole.
