How many Spanish speaking countries celebrate independence from Spain?

There are 20 Spanish-speaking countries in the world, and 19 of them celebrate independence from Spain. The only exception is Equatorial Guinea, which was a Spanish colony until 1968, but its independence was granted by the Spanish government.
