This is not the best place to stay when in Rosarito, but it is the only hotel in the area that allows pets. Amenities include air conditioned rooms and pool. The beach is just a few steps away. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and meals are traditional Mexican style. Room rates are not that affordable, but this hotel is located just 38 miles south of the American border, making it a nice weekend getaway.

The hotel sits right on the beach and has a private pool. This is an ideal location if you are traveling with pets or if you are an avid golfer as there is a nearby golf course. The historic Hotel Frances is in the center of Santa Rosalia, an old French mining town. This is a two-star hotel and rooms are comfortable for the price. Amenities include air conditioning, laundry service, a swimming pool, TV and restaurant service. The town of Santa Rosalia is unique in Mexico because of the French influence in its architecture. The town church was designed in 1884 by Gustave Eiffel and exhibited in the world exposition in Paris in 1889, later to be installed in Santa Rosalia.
