The Cozumel Jungle Hike tour starts in the Cozumel main city of San Miguel, where participants board a bus to the jungle park. There they are outfitted at the Welcome Station with water, a map, a compass and other essentials before heading into the jungle. The guided hike takes visitors past unexcavated Mayan burial grounds, caves and a Mayan well. The area is also filled with tropical birds, iguanas and other wildlife. Tour members are taken back to the ship by bus after the two-hour walking tour.
This three-hour excursion starts with a visit to a beachside adventure park in Cozumel where participants are outfitted with climbing shoes, a harness and a helmet. The park boasts six adventure towers where visitors can fly through the air via zipline, cross suspension bridges and explore raised beams. There are more than 70 climbing routes within the park. After the climbing adventure, tour members are taken to the beach and given snorkeling gear and time to explore offshore reefs and wildlife. The minimum age for this tour is 12.
This six-and-a-half hour tour of the Mayan city of Tulum begins with a 45-minute ferry ride from the ship to the modern coastal city of Playa del Carmen. Upon arrival, participants are taken by bus to the ruined city of Tulum, home to more than 60 restored temples. A guided tour will explain the history and myths of this site. The Tulum portion of the tour concludes with a visit to El Castillo, a temple that towers 40 feet over the Caribbean Sea. Visitors are then taken to Playa del Carmen where they are free to shop and explore before taking a ferry back to the ship. The 45-minute return ferries leave every hour until the ship's departure.
This three-and-a-half hour tour begins with a taxi ride from the dock to the dolphin park. Participants are given a locker and briefed by a dolphin trainer on activities and safety. Then you enter the water and meet your new dolphin friend, allow the dolphin to pull you around the water and get a chance to swim with your dolphin. After the dolphin encounter, tour members are taken to nearby Chankanaab Park to enjoy the beach, snorkel and/or dine at one of the beachside restaurants. Buses leave every hour from the park to the ship. You must be at least eight years of age to take part in this tour.
