What are the main points of Connecticut plan?

1. Representation in Congress. The plan proposed a bicameral legislature with two houses: the House of Representatives and the Senate. The House of Representatives would be elected by the people of each state, and the Senate would be elected by the state legislatures.

2. Voting in Congress. In the House of Representatives, each state would have a number of representatives proportional to its population. In the Senate, each state would have two senators, regardless of its population.

3. Executive branch. The plan proposed a single executive, elected by the legislature, to serve as the head of state.

4. Judicial branch. The plan proposed a system of federal courts, with the Supreme Court at the head.

5. Amendment process. The plan proposed that amendments to the Constitution could be made by a two-thirds vote of both houses of Congress, followed by ratification by three-fourths of the states.

The Connecticut Plan was ultimately adopted as the basis for the United States Constitution.
