The Reversing Falls is a dramatic tidal phenomenon on the Saint John River in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Bay of Fundy tides (world's highest, up to 16 m / 53 ft) collide with the outgoing river current.
Creates a powerful whirlpool that reverses the river's flow.
At peak tide, the reversal can reach 2 m (6 ft) height with currents up to 12 km/h (7 mph).
