    • Lambs Farms offers food, shopping and activities for family enjoyment. Activities for kids include a petting zoo, mini-golf, a train ride, a bounce house shaped like a cow and a carousel. Families enjoy picnics in the picnic area and exploring the farmyard, plus there is dining on-site at the Country Inn Restaurant. As of August 2010, the restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shop at the Pet Shop, Thrift Shop, and Corner Store and Bakery. Choose from individual activity tickets or full-day passes. As of August 2010, a day pass costs $6 for adults and $12 for children ages 2 to 12. Lamb Farms also helps people with special needs live fulfilling lives.

    Adler Park Pool

    • Kids enjoy swimming at Adler Park Pool. The facility actually contains three pools, a sand volleyball court, a sand play center and a concession stand. Pool one graduates to 6 feet deep and offers water basketball, two lap lanes and a general swim area. Pool two is 3 1/2 feet deep with one open-top water slide and one enclosed water slide. Pool three is 12 feet deep with a diving board and a plunge slide. Guests must be 48 inches or taller to ride the plunge slide. There are two types of daily admission, one for residents of Libertyville and one for nonresidents. As of August 2010, children under 2 enter free, children and adults pay $7 for residents and $11 for nonresidents, and seniors pay $3 for residents and $5 for nonresidents.

    Butler Lake Park

    • Butler Lake Park contains 58 acres of family fun. Kids enjoy fishing, playing on the playgrounds and ice-skating in winter. Amenities include a football field, baseball diamond, bike paths, foot trails, picnic area, lake, flower garden, cross-country skiing, concession stands and barbecue grills.
