Sightseeing Tours of New York City in a Foreign Language

Foreign visitors to New York City may take comfort in being able to tour the city with guides who speak their native languages. Tourists can choose from a number of regularly-scheduled tours or can hire a private guide to take them around America's largest city. There are tours available daily throughout the year in many different foreign languages.
  1. Gray Line Tours

    • Gray Line Tours offers a four-hour fully-guided sightseeing tour around Manhattan that takes visitors past highlights such as the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Harlem's Apollo Theater, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Greenwich Village and the South Street Seaport. Since the guided tours do not make stops with time to explore, they can optionally be combined with a ticket for the company's hop-on, hop-off double-decker bus tour. However, the hop-on, hop-off tour is only available in English. Korean tours depart daily in the morning except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. German, French, Italian and Spanish tours depart every morning. Foreign language tours operate throughout the year except for the week between Christmas and New Year's, and all tours depart from the Gray Line Visitor Center near Times Square.
