Located in the Modern Wing at the Art Institute of Chicago, Terzo Piano offers modern Italian cuisine. The restaurant is a Chicago magazine 2010 "Best of Chicago" winner. The menu features traditional items with a modern twist, such as mussels with white wine, salsa verde, almond and orange and salmon with grilled panzanella and tomato vinaigrette. A three-course dinner menu is available. All dishes use organic and locally grown produce. Terzo Piano has an extensive wine list featuring domestic and foreign wines. Patrons may enter the restaurant without attending the museum. Terzo Piano serves lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Sunday and dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
