The Clear Fork branch was first stocked in 1992 with 10,000 fingerling brown trout and continues to maintain a decent population. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (DNR) stocks it every October. It is one of three streams in Ohio stocked with this species.
The Clear Fork branch features mainly waist-high water, but you need to watch for the occasional hole when wading on the gravel bottom. Use wet or dry flies in protected areas under banks and fallen trees or behind large rocks.
You must have a fishing license from the Ohio DNR. You are permitted two trout of any species per day from the Clear Fork with a 12-inch maximum limit. You may not clean or gut the fish near the water, and you may not sell your catch.
