Visit the quaintly named Suzie's Lake. Take Route 102 south. Between exit 2 and exit 1, stop your car and park at the first green highway sign you see. Follow the foot trail pointing west towards Birch Cove Lakes. Suzie's Lake is the first body of water you'll encounter.
Spend the day at Crystal Crescent Beach in Halifax. At the Amdale Rotary, take the exit for Route 349 and head south for a mile and a half, and then turn for Old Sambro Road. Drive for about 11 miles until you reach a stop sign. Look for Hart's Store at the intersection; turn right. Follow the signs for Crystal Crescent Beach. Walk past the first two beaches. The third is clothing optional.
Go to the nude beach at Inverness. Heading towards to Cape Breton Island, take Route 104 to the Canso Causeway, and then turn onto Route 19. Drive to Sight Point Road and follow that until you reach an area with farms. From there, you can walk the trail to the beach.
