Where did the Terracotta Army lived?

The Terracotta Army did not live; it is an army of more than 8,000 sculptures crafted from terracotta depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of Imperial China. They were intended to protect the emperor in his afterlife and were buried near his tomb.
