Where do most rain forest exist?
Most rainforests exist near the Equator where temperatures and rainfall are consistently favorable for lush plant growth. The areas around the Equator receive direct sunlight, resulting in high temperatures and humidity, which create ideal conditions for rainforests to thrive. The most extensive rainforests are found in South America, Central Africa, Southeast Asia, and the islands of Indonesia and New Guinea. These regions experience abundant rainfall throughout the year, providing the necessary moisture for rainforest ecosystems to flourish.
