The top seaside holiday destination in Poland, Western Pomerania borders the Baltic Sea to the north and Germany to the west. The region offers more than 120 miles of coastline, a number of national parks, seaside towns and the Pomeranian Lake District. The resort town Darlowo boasts the 14th-century Castle of Pomeranian Dukes and a medieval town center. The island of Wolin just off the northwest Polish coast offer visitors scenic landscapes, seaside villages and long stretches of beach. The town of Miedzyzdroje on Wolin island features a seaside promenade, miles of sandy beaches and the gentlest climate on the north Poland coast. Spa services in town include mud baths and saline treatments.
