What Is the 'Top City in the World'? It Depends on the Metric

No single city holds the title—rankings vary by criteria:

• Student Cities (QS 2023): London, Boston, Munich, Seoul, Berlin
• Liveability (EIU 2022): Vienna, Copenhagen, Zurich, Calgary, Geneva
• Most Livable (Resonance 2023): London, Copenhagen, Toronto, Sydney, Auckland
• Financial Centers (GFCI 32): London, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo
• Fashion (Lyst 2023): London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Seoul

Each ranking reflects specific priorities; the "best" city is personal.
