Check in at your accommodations. Get acclimated to your hotel, condo or beach house. If you want to try something a little different, stay in a bed and breakfast or at a campground.
Decide how you'll get around town. Most people get around by car if they drove into the area. You can rent a car if you arrived by other modes of transportation. Alternately, use the Resort Transit Bus Service or the Jolly Trolley of Rehoboth if you don't feel like driving.
Relax at the beach. Go swimming, play in the sand and get some sun. Take a walk along the one-mile-long boardwalk. Play the arcades or ride the bumper cars at Funland Amusement Park. Indulge in some fudge or saltwater taffy from Dolle's or The Candy Kitchen.
Do some tax-free shopping and some sightseeing. Browse the various boutiques, swimwear and souvenir shops along the boardwalk, and visit the variety of stores at the Tanger and Liz Claiborne outlets. Jolly Trolley also offers sightseeing tours around town. If you're into visiting museums and seeing artwork, check out the Zwaanendael Museum to learn some history, or the Rehoboth Art League to view the latest exhibits.
Take advantage of some recreation such as tennis, volleyball or golf. Baywood Greens offers an "exclusively public" 18-hole golf course in Rehoboth. For the kids or kids at heart, Jungle Jim's Adventure World offers a water park, mini golf, batting cages and go-kart racing. Rent a boat at one of the many marinas or try surf fishing at Cape Henlopen Point.
Dine at a unique restaurant. Jake's Seafood House is famous for its jumbo lump crab cakes. Blue Moon has been named one of the top restaurants in Delaware. Or, enjoy live music, TV sports and dinner specials at The Frogg Pond Tavern & Restaurant.
Explore the nightlife. Take in a live concert or an outdoor movie at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand on the boardwalk. Performances are also held at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. Also, several area bars, restaurants and hotels offer the nightclub atmosphere.
