Where is Bosporus?

The Bosporus Strait (Turkish: Boğazıçi or İstanbul Boğazı; Ancient Greek: Βόσπορος Bosporos,[1][2] Latin: Bosphorus Thracius) is a narrow, natural strait and an internationally significant waterway located in northwestern Turkey. It forms part of the boundary between Europe and Asia and connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara, thereby also serving as one of the key maritime routes between the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea.

The Bosporus Strait is an important international shipping route, connecting the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea and beyond. It is one of the world's busiest shipping lanes, with over 100,000 vessels passing through each year. The strait is also a major tourist attraction, with many visitors coming to see its beautiful scenery and historic landmarks, including the Dolmabahçe Palace, the Beylerbeyi Palace, and the Rumeli Hisarı fortress.
