The Eureka Tower is the tallest free-standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a residential skyscraper located in Southbank, Melbourne, Australia. The tower has a height of 297.3 metres (975 feet) and 91 storeys. It was designed by Fender Katsalidis Architects and completed in 2006. The Eureka Tower is the second-tallest building in Australia, after the Q1 Tower in Gold Coast, Queensland.
