Will California Fall into the Ocean?

No. The idea that California will "slide into the Pacific" is a geological myth. The San Andreas Fault is a transform (strike-slip) boundary where the Pacific Plate moves northwest relative to the North American Plate—horizontal motion, not vertical. Earthquakes cause shaking and surface rupture, but they do not detach continental crust or cause land to sink into the ocean.
